What We Do – Accountablilites

  • Assures support of achievement for financial objectives including: Sales, payroll, and shrink in assigned store
  • Assures effective support of implementation and execution of company plans and strategies in assigned store
  • Assures a consistent in-store experience that supports the Brans and exceeds the Customer’s expectations through utilizing the company selling model and consistent operations and merchandising initiatives within assigned store
  • Assures the support of compliance, education, and support for all federal, state/provincial, and local laws and regulations including pay, meal and rest breaks, and stat/provincial-specific requirements in assigned store

Essential Functions

  • Utilizes all available tools to train and develop associates while creating a professional culture where associates contributions are valued, respected, and appreciated
  • Ensures the proper and consistent execution of the company selling model using coaching tools and resources
  • Embraces and promotes company initiatives, contests, and strategies to achieve desired behaviors
  • Assists Store Sales Manager in providing direct and honest performance feedback while effectively communicating own observations regarding individual’s performance to the Store Manager
  • Addresses associate behavioral and performance deficiencies in partnership with Store Sales Manager
  • Delivers clear, concise, and timely communication to associates, Store Sales Manager, and business partners
  • Supports the management of payroll hours within acceptable budget parameters
  • Assist store leadership team with executing product placement and visual standards consistent with company guideline and expectations.
  • Ensures price changes and reports are reviewed and executed per company standards in a timely manner
  • Delivers high standards with respect to store cleanliness, organization, safety, and shopability
  • Educates and coaches associates on company Loss Prevention programs and processes including understanding “shrink” goals
  • Ensures associate adherence to all company policies and procedures as well as all local state/provincial, and federal regulations
  • Completes other projects and assignments as directed by management

Preferred Qualifications & Education

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu
  • Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store
  • Demonstrates an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals
  • Demonstrates and ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate postitively with store associates at all levels
  • Ability to train, coach and develop Associates
  • Must exercise independent judgement and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
  • Ability to influence at all levels, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in driving successful management strategies
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the need of the business, including holidays, nights, weekend and extended hours
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
